“No, nononono, I’m not a stalker.” She was horrified, putting her hands out in front of her frantically. His smile turned her insides to mush. “I, uh, I, um, you just — ” she trailed off in stutters.

“Aww, I was only joking.” He couldn’t help but laugh at how adorable she had looked.

“You sure?” Isaac heard her heart rate up pick up and he twitched. He stepped closer to her.

He moved closer and that just made it worse. Now her racing heart wasn’t from lies or embarrassment but simply from how close he was. It was like being something’s prey. How was she even supposed to answer?

I’m not fine, because you’re right there and I want to touch you so badly it scares me? I’m not fine because every time you smile my heart turns over? I’m not fine, because even though I’m older than you I’m sure you see me as a silly child?

But if thou would like to meet again just give me a call.” he continued to joke while he had given her his phone number and then ran off quickly to get to practice on time.

His calling her ‘princess’ made her blush again. She stood slightly dumbfounded as he all but pressed his number on her, clutching her phone to her chest as he ran off. “But I watch your practices,” she said, forlornly, to no one in particular as he rounded a corner. But now she had his number — she resolved to teach him the correct use of ‘thou’ and ‘thee’ as soon as there was a chance.
