Arthur smiled. “All that matters is that I love you.”
She raised her brows. “You think this will be that easy? At some point you’ll have duties, and your father … ” She let the sentence slide off, not wanting to say all the reasons she’d kept her mouth shut all along.
“Well I know that I have my duties, but I have nothing to do tonight. So I don’t need to be anywhere. Except right here.”
Summer couldn’t help but laugh. “You’re such a romantic, sweet. Just sit here and cuddle?”
“I try.” He said with a smile. “Of course. We could sit here and cuddle all night if you wanted to.”
“I want to know what you want to do.” She prodded him in the chest. “If I had /my/ way, we would have to be somewhere much more private than this. With a locking door.”
He blushed a little, knowing what she meant. “W-We could always do that too.”
“Stop avoiding the question, Arthur. Right now, at this moment, what do you want?”
“You.”
“You are doing that on purpose!” Half laughing and half frustrated, Summer insinuated her hands under his shirt and tried to tickle him.
