Summer had decided the day was just too damn nice to spend it mewed up inside. Two books, one leashed cat, a blanket and a packed up lunch later, she was sprawled on the grass in the park, the ragdoll cat perching on her back. When Helios tensed, stood up, then sprang off her back to run to the limit of his leash, she rolled over, shading her eyes against the sun, to catch Tony’s awkward landing.

For a long moment, the best she could do was stare open-mouthed.

Offering a grin that was positively gleeful, Tony waved towards Summer and the cat (…he had never seen a cat on a leash before; that was weird), grin morphing to laughter as she gaped at him.  “What?” he wondered, flapping the wings once and then folding them close to his back.  “You got stuck with wings for god knows how long.  This shouldn’t be all that surprising,” he pointed out, crossing his arms a bit awkwardly as he rolled his shoulders to get used to the added weight behind him.

“Dear gods, you’re beautiful.” She closed her mouth with a snap, looking around for something to hold down the end of Helios’ leash. Finally she looped it around her bare ankle and walked over to Tony. “It’s not surprising in that sense, only because of how damn good you look like that.” A mischievous thought occurred to her, and she cocked her head at him. “Are they as sensitive as mine were?”
