“I’m sorry, were we exclusively dating? Dating at all? I didn’t … you know, it would be nice if maybe you actually, I don’t know, asked me out. I’m assuming a lot of things here because you’ve been really hard to reach.”
“I’m an actor. That’s how it goes. Also, it’s not my problem I don’t have a cell number for you. Or even a house number. That would make contacting you that much easier. Also, yes; let it be known that I do consider us to be dating. I thought you already knew.”
“You were texting me while you were in Miami months ago, don’t give me that. And you still have never actually asked me out.”
“I did? Oh, wait, right, I did. And, you know, I don’t necessarily ask people out. That’s too normal for me. I figured with the fact we are always taking these little pieces of time with each other, I was sure I didn’t have to ask.”
“It’s nice to be asked. Sometimes a little normal is good, you know. At this point, I just don’t want to assume; I’d rather hold back and not get hurt.” Very quietly, “You’ve certainly persuaded me I’m deserving, so I want everything.”
