Summer smiled slowly. “Come here often, then? Sydney?”
Sydney snorted. “Really? We’re going with that? Next you’ll ask me for my sign.” She laughed a little, pulling her hair behind her ear, before sipping her drink again. “No not, to quell your curiosity, I don’t.”
“Told you, I have to start somewhere. I could ask your sign, but I think I’ll save that for later.” She delicately licked the spillover from the fresh glass the bartender put down in front of her. “What brings you here tonight?”
