“You never let me have any fun.” Summer pouted. “What’s the point of being a superhero if I can’t rid the world of stupid power-hungry assholes?” She crossed her eyes at his finger and attempted to lick it.
“You can rid the world of plenty of power-hungry assholes,” he assured her, “just as soon as they do something more destructive than be boring and pretentious.” He flicked her nose and drew his hand away.
She snapped her teeth at the retreating finger. “You are really mean, Tony.” She made an even more exaggerated pout, then sighed. “I just wish there was something I could actually do about that kind of thing, you know?”
