“He played Hellboy? And he does the narration for the Fallout games.” She shut up for the first bits of the movie, because it’s important to be able to follow the voice over — the movie made so much more sense with that setup. Not that a movie about man-made giant robots fighting monstrous aliens emerging from the sea makes that much sense, but it made /more/ sense. She propped herself up against the arm of the couch, and without really realizing, her bare feet crept across until she was pressing them against Isaac’s leg.

“I’ve not seen that – I think I’ve got a lot to catch up on, huh? Maybe we should have more movie nights?” he suggested with a crooked, playful smile and then fell silent, watching the movie with a captivated interest, jaw dropping and eyes widening in all the right parts. He was so entranced in the on-screen action that he never noticed her bare feet nearing his leg, nor did he feel the slight impact when she pressed her feet against him.

She twitched across the couch in bits and pieces during the battle scenes, until she was virtually pressed up against him, not actually touching yet. And then the baby monster /eats/ one of the characters, as they’re crawling around inside the belly of another, and she shoved her face into his shoulder and made disgusted noises.
