“It’s amazing. Everything you never knew you wanted in a live-action giant robot movie. Huge fight sequences, actual science, psuedo-military organization, and a really gross bit. And Ron Perlman.” Summer pulled it off the shelf and snapped the case open, quickly setting up the media system. She chose to sit on the other end of the couch from where Isaac had been sitting, and hit play.
His eyes widened then before he scrunched up his nose. “I don’t know who that is, but I’ll take your word for it. I’ve just heard it’s supposed to be a pretty damn awesome film, I just never got around to seeing it until now.” He shrugged and returned to his earlier seat, curling up slightly and settling back against the sofa.
“He played Hellboy? And he does the narration for the Fallout games.” She shut up for the first bits of the movie, because it’s important to be able to follow the voice over — the movie made so much more sense with that setup. Not that a movie about man-made giant robots fighting monstrous aliens emerging from the sea makes that much sense, but it made /more/ sense. She propped herself up against the arm of the couch, and without really realizing, her bare feet crept across until she was pressing them against Isaac’s leg.
