Vex plopped down onto the leather couch in his private room within the upstairs of his night-club. He’d been avoiding the night life like the plague tonight, trying to avoid the comments he knew would be thrown around if anyone saw him like this… roughly an hour ago, he’d been surprised to see that he not only had cat ears and a tail, claws and teeth, but a feline’s instincts to boot. He wasn’t really sure how to deal with this.
He hissed in surprise as the door to his room opened, but then realized it was only Summer. “Precious,” his voice was purring more than usual, “What a pleasant surprise.”
Summer stopped dead still in the doorway. “Vex?” It /looked/ like him, if someone had gotten clever and made a catboy version of him. Her eyebrows climb. “What happened to you?” She made herself step into the room and close the door behind her, compelled by his voice in a different way than usual.
