“Mmmm. Don’t drown,” she commented. It would take a while for the huge tub to fill completely, but she was perfectly content to sit there in the slowly rising water and watch him from under lowered eyelashes. In a little while, maybe, he could help her wash, which would probably turn into something that needed another wash afterward, and that was fine too. The lowering sun turned the light through the frosted window golden and glorious, and she basked in it.

Curling his toes and wriggling his feet as he watched the water level of the tub slowly rise, Isaac smiled softly to himself, enjoying the intimate, relaxing moment. Then, he turned to gaze at her with a tender little smile, eyeing her with a chuckle as he reached out to play with her hair. “You’re so beautiful…”

Gently, she pushed his hand away. “I don’t want to wash my hair right now, Isaac, don’t do that please.” She didn’t argue with him about the other thing; it would probably be a point of contention between them for a long time. To ease the sting of denial a little she kissed his fingertips. “You can help me wash my back though?”
