She splutters a laugh and bops his nose again. “Someone’s arrogant. I have to be a certain amount of wonderful to be your friend? What in the world kind of person does someone have to be to date you?” Then she flushes and claps her hand over her mouth, backing away from him.
The laugh that comes out of her is awkwardly done, as if she can’t possibly comprehend the concept of his words. He’s continuing to smirk at her for a moment before he’s floored, surprised by her question. His expression changes immediately into one of shock, proving that she has somehow shocked the young Stilinski into silence. It was a difficult task in itself.
“I, uh … I — I didn’t mean to say that?” She’s plastered against the window, as if she somehow expects him to leap at her or stomp out of the room or something else generally awful. “S-stiles? Say something!”
