“You think I’m wonderful?” She tries hard to keep her tone teasing and silly, but there’s still the undertone of surprise. Pleased, amazed surprise. “I would never say anything that wasn’t true, just like you would never hurt me.” She tosses her hair, then taps his nose.
“Wonderful enough to be my friend,” Stiles responds with another wink, hardly able to control his teasing now that he had the reins on it. Once you got the teen going, he couldn’t stop himself. He was mainly just being an idiot, just because that was a part of his natural personality.
She splutters a laugh and bops his nose again. “Someone’s arrogant. I have to be a certain amount of wonderful to be your friend? What in the world kind of person does someone have to be to date you?” Then she flushes and claps her hand over her mouth, backing away from him.
