“It might be so.” She lifted her eyebrows, biting down on a smile. “Were you planning to feed me, since I’m obviously not allowed to move?”
“Do you want me to move?” He arched an eyebrow and leaned up on his hands, gazing down at her with a devilish smile. “Because I don’t know about you, but I’m quite comfortable where I am.”
Before she could answer, her stomach growled again, and she giggled, lifting herself up on her elbows. With a twist of her hips, and because she took him by surprise, she rolled them over. She had to close her eyes, shivering, and wait for the aftershocks to subside. “When you look like that,” she whispered, “all I want is you, but it seems other parts of me have a different say.”
