“Happy to oblige, milady.” Daniel kissed his way up Summers neck, her jaw, and finally chastely kissed her lips.
“Why, Doctor,” she thickened her southern accent and fluttered her hands in front of her face, “I had no idea you were such a gentleman!”
Daniel smiled down at the pretty young woman in his arms before he moved to catch her lips, his hands reaching up to frame her delicate face.
Summer’s hands hit his shoulders, surprised. She’d been teasing, pretty sure Daniel didn’t think of her that way. But damn, he was good at kissing; she slid her hands up into his hair and kissed him back.
Slowly, he pulled away and kissed her forehead. “I’m not that much of a gentleman.”
“Hey!” She swatted the back of his head. “Don’t do that, I hate that. I’m not that short. What the hell, Daniel?”
