the Tale of Sir Isaac

lycanthropelahey:

She leaned over him, tipping his face up to press a kiss to his mouth. Whatever he believed, she promised herself she would come back to him. They’d been through so much already in such a short time; they could survive this. She closed her eyes and kissed him harder, as a promise.

Isaac let out a pitiful little noise as he leaned up into the kiss, pressing their bodies together as he looped his arms around her, crushing her right up against him as he trembled. He was going to miss her, and he knew he’d have to continue on in her absence, but there wouldn’t be a moment in which she wasn’t present in his mind.

She could hardly breathe, but she didn’t care. Summer crushed herself closer to Isaac, kissing him even harder. She wanted him to forget about what was coming, just remember her for now.
