Summer picked out several bathing suits, stuffing them into her duffle, and picked out some of her favourite clothes to go with. She debated for a minute about putting a nice outfit in there, then put it in anyway. You never knew what might happen.
[text to: okami] we can stop for food after I pick you up. it’s not like we’re in a hurry
She braided up her hair before jumping in the shower, not wanting for drive several hours chasing wisps out of her eyes. Helios seemed to catch on to her light mood, curling up in his carry-case as soon as she offered it to him. Together they drove to Derek’s, and she bounced up the stairs and rapped on the strange metal door.

Isaac was apparently quite useless at multi-tasking, having had to dive out of the shower as she replied to his text, slipping on the floor and banging his hip painfully off of the sink. Cursing loudly and colourfully, he replied and then finished off his shower, turning off the dial before blindly seeking for his towel.
Returning to his room and attempting to find some clothes, for he wasn’t satisfied with the ones he’d chosen, he called for Derek to let Summer in as he heard her knock, before snarling inwardly as he found some boxers and dry clothes, but ended up under his bed, clad in a towel, searching for his swim-trunks.
Summer was still a little uneasy about Derek, but he didn’t try to interfere between the two of them, and he hadn’t offered any harm to her. So she just gave him a little smile, explained her errand, and went where he told her Isaac was.
Being presented with a mostly-bare boyfriend in a sliding, damp towel, clearly nowhere near ready, was not at all what she expected. As quietly as possible, she knelt beside him and murmured, “I’m not under there.”
