“Mexican. I’ve got a craving for cheese dip.” Summer pushed gently at Isaac. “But we’re going to have to take another shower, and you’ll have to lend me some clothes. I don’t think anything I own is going to fit me anymore … “
“That’s okay — how about I phone and place an order while you shower?” He scooted away obediently and sat back on his knees, not all bothered about getting dressed just yet as he awaited his boyfriend’s response.
“Ugh, delivery Mexican? No. Absolutely not.” He rolled out of bed, arms and legs everywhere, and straightened with a stretch. “You don’t want to go out to eat, that’s fine, but no on the delivery Mexican.” He made a yucky noise.
“I don’t know why it matters what you call the day.”
“Because Valentine’s day is some cheap excuse to make money off of people’s love. Don’t see why it has to be special when people can love on any other day.”
“Love, is it? People can give gifts any day of the year, but we still celebrate Christmas. Or Hanukkah, as the case may be.”
