Police: Actor Robin Williams found dead in home
NBC Bay Area: Actor Robin Williams was found dead in his home in unincorporated Tiburon, Calif., on Monday, the Marin County sheriff’s office said. He was 63.
The coroner’s office currently suspects suicide.

This is terrible sad news.
if it was suicide, I hope he has the peace he was seeking.

The opening scene with the street merchant was completely unscripted. Robin Williams was brought into the sound stage and was asked to stand behind a table that had several objects on it and a bed sheet covering them all. The animators asked him to lift the sheet, and without looking take an object from the table and describe it in character. Much of the material in that recording session was not appropriate for a Disney film.
“Combination hookah and coffee maker, also makes julienne fries! It will not break! It will not- …. it broke.”
that line used to just kill me as a kid and now it’s better because it was unscripted and he probably broke the prop

Oscar winner and comedian Robin Williams died this morning at 63. While his publicist wouldn’t confirm that it was a suicide, they did issue this…Well, fuck. I know there were some folk who did not love him, and looking back now some of his routines make one cringe, but at a time when I was unutterably depressed, his comedy shows could make me laugh, and got me through the night.
Thank you, sir. Whatever demons you battled, I hope you knew you brought light into the world, too.
