She kept her mouth shut on the fact that he’d been a lot of both /before/. They didn’t need to go there. She just said simply, “Change is possible. It would work better if more people tried for it.”

“A kick in the ass, rather than being set on fire, might work a bit better,” he pointed out.  “Not really much chance for change, after being set on fire, I would imagine.”

Summer huffed at him. “Now why do you have to poke that kind of hole in my plan to solve the world’s problems? I mean, really. Logic? That’s unfair.”

“Aw, come on, don’t tell me you can’t still have fun kicking peoples’ asses.”  He quirked an eyebrow.  “Or you could throw things at them.  Probably wouldn’t fix the problem, but it couldn’t hurt.”

“Raven does keep making my beanie babies multiply,” she mused thoughtfully. “Can I just bring a box of those to meetings and throw them at anyone I find annoying?”

Anything that enables you to move around even faster than you already do would drive me up the wall. You can fly, be happy with that.

But think of how much more stuff I could get done!

What makes you think you need to be doing more stuff?!

There’s always more stuff to do, more projects, things like that.

I can’t even remember the last time you actually took a vacation.
