Goddess of healing. Now that could be really handy. *grins* I’m teasing. I’m an empath and pyrokinetic.
“So you can feel others’ feelings and summon fire?” she asked with a nod.
It’s a little more complex than that. I can feel others’ feelings, if I choose, and project feelings. But, um, foreign feelings build up in me. Like a … toxin. If I don’t purge them somehow, I have really strong muscle spasms. But, it turns out, I can use the emotions, mine or other peoples’, to fuel fire. Called fire. It’s weirdly specific. I can’t do anything with pre-existing fire, but if I call the fire, it’s mine and I can do anything I like with it. *calls her wings into existence* Like this.
Eir took in the information and her eyes widened in surprise at the girl’s actions, ”Oh my…that is very interesting. I’ve never heard of such talents, but they are rather fascinating!”
There are lots of people on Midgard with … interesting talents. As far as I can tell, mine happens to be a weird fusion of my psychic power with my ability for magic. *dismisses the wings* Compared to some of the other folk around here, I’m … pretty normal, really.
“I have met some Midgardians with rather strange powers, it still surprises me to see mortals with such talents though.”
*arches a brow* Bit of racial superiority there, m’lady?
Eir gave her a look of deep offense, all beings were equal in her eyes, so for someone to insinuate otherwise was very insulting to her, ”No. I do not consider any creed superior over another, but I have not known of mortals with such abilities for many many years, so to find them now is merely surprising.”
Oh, I think it’s fair to say we’ve had these kinds of skills for ages. You just … lost sight of us, shall we say? People who are different aren’t much admired on this world, lady; we’re not SAFE.
“Greetings, I am Eir of Asgard, how do you fare?” she welcomed brightly.
Oh hi! I’m good. Um. More Asgardians?
“I’m glad to hear you are well,” she nodded, ”Indeed I am Asgardian. Have you met many of my comrades?”
So far, just Loki. Well, properly, anyway.
“Oh…I hope our prince didn’t cause you any trouble. I love him like a son, but he gets in a rather large deal of mischief. You’re from Midgard, correct?”
Loki’s … distant. Yeah. Good-looking, god, but distant. *shrugs* Yes, I’m terran. Does it show? *makes a show of trying to see down her own back*
Eir gave her a bit of an odd look, having never heard the term ‘terran’ before, ”He can be rather distant, but I’m glad he hasn’t caused you much trouble. As for your mortality, I am an expert at determining peoples’ physiology as the Goddess of Healing, I am very well acquainted with differences in bodies.”

She clasped his hand quickly, with a little smile. “Summer Rainault. You won’t have heard of me.”
Bruce shook her hand firmly, dipping his head briefly before allowing his hand to fall onto a nearby lab table. “Pleasure is mine, Ms. Rainault.”
“Is it okay if I ask about what you’re doing here? I recognise the tech, but that’s about all.” She glanced around again, eyes lingering on the computers and holographs.
Bruce shrugged lightly, “I’m studying gamma radiation, mostly… Its effect on the different stages of photosynthesis and the speed of light particles.”
She looked impressed. “You’re a hardy soul, going back to that kind of research. It took me a long time to have anything to do with fire again after my apartment burned down.”
Summer shrugged, glancing around. “I’m just exploring, really.”
Bruce nodded once. “Okay…,” he wasn’t sure what else to add so he took a step closer to her and extended his hand. “I’m Dr. Banner, you are…?”
She clasped his hand quickly, with a little smile. “Summer Rainault. You won’t have heard of me.”

I’ve got four cats. I’m used to mess. *raises brows* D’you want some help tidying it up, then?
Yes, but cats luckily don’t have opposable thumbs with which to wreck your labs with. {His brows raise with a smile} If you’re not busy, I suppose it couldn’t hurt to have an extra hand.
She starts to gather books and magazines into a neat stack. “You only say that because you’ve never had four balls of fur pretend your house is a racetrack and they need to do laps!” The magazines go in the empty space made by straightening them, and the books end up on the floor by a table-leg. “I almost always have free time, these days.”
