“Oh yeah? Were there specifics? Did you leave him with plenty of caffeine?” Summer glances up from her laptop, grinning. “Or is this him doing that thing where he’s afraid he’ll screw it up if he tries to … make his friends be friends?”
“Guess that’s true, I’m not much at all compared to them.” Clint agrees smiling at you. “Hmm, I think that there’s a lot more to you than you say. It’s not a bad thing. Guess we have had enough of talking for now. What do you like to do for fun? “
She lifts the laptop a little. “Computer things. Read. Sing, dance, video games. Chase the cats around the house. Sometimes work out. Wander outside. Well, in Central Park. I’m not really a city girl.”
Clint nods as you speak and grins when you mention cats and video games. “Most of those I can agree with. I grew up in the countryside myself. Would you like to accompany me for a walk outside? It seems to have started snowing too, so maybe we could drop in for tea or coffee afterwards.”
“Find me somewhere that serves hot chocolate and you’re on.” She puts the laptop aside and tumbles off the couch gracelessly, arms and legs everywhere. Shaking her hair out of her face, she finds her boots and a coat and pulls them on, explaining, “I’m not the caffeine addict Tony is. I don’t actually like coffee or tea. That’s why there’s that tin of chocolate in the kitchen, it’s mine.”
Certain books — paranormal romances usually. She sometimes feels guilty about her admiration of certain good-looking people, too.
♟ for something my muse admires
People who know what they’re doing with their lives. She tends to feel like she’s kind of bumbling along, just doing whatever comes to her without much plan.
Summer looked up from the ornament box she was digging through, smiling slowly. “Hmm? How would you like me, then?” A mischievous glitter lit her eyes. “Naked with a bow? In a gorgeous dress on your arm? Making you beg me for mercy? Putting snow down your back?”
“Oh yeah? Were there specifics? Did you leave him with plenty of caffeine?” Summer glances up from her laptop, grinning. “Or is this him doing that thing where he’s afraid he’ll screw it up if he tries to … make his friends be friends?”
Clint listens attentively and lifts his brow in surprise when learning about you being an empath. You working with SHIELD does not surprise him as he heard that before and he does not have anything against it either. He stays quiet until you’re done. “Well it’s nice get to know you Summer. You’re the first empath I’ve met, hopefully I don’t give you trouble. Sometimes I might be hard to be around with for someone with your ability I guess.” he warns you in friendly manner knowing that he’s not the most stable person.
She gives him a sceptical look. “Sweetheart, I live with Tony Stark and Loki, who are in love with me and each other. You are not going to be a problem.” Summer shrugs. “So that’s me. There’s just not much to me.”

“Okay I’ll wait for that and then go find him myself if he doesn’t.” Clint agrees and offers casual smile having calmed down. “In truth I don’t know what to ask. I don’t know what’s different here. Actually I know nearly nothing about you either even though I have stayed here for a few days already. You don’t have to give a life story or anything but I would like to get to know you.”
“Mine’s probably a more simple story than most anyway,” she confesses. Comparatively, her life’s been quite easy. “The first thing you should know is that I’m an empath. I was born that way. I’m not like, oh, Professor X, but neither am I just weak. There’s more to it — it’s not so simple as that, but it’s — ” She twists a hand in the air, failing at words. “I was born in the south, and I came up here after 9/11, to help. I do work with SHIELD, as a search-and-rescue contractor. Um … what else? I’ve a twin sister, though we don’t look alike.”

Clint was bit embarrassed how over eager he must have sounded like. “Sorry, so I’ll just need to talk to Loki then. Guess I should get it over with. Where can he usually be found? In the tower Or somewhere else?” He was nervous about talking to him and wondered if they would get along but he was still Loki in the end. Clint was looking forward to it and afraid at the same time, he just couldn’t help it.
“He’ll probably find you.” She pats his hand. “Did you have anything you wanted to ask me, since all the things I expected you to know you don’t?”

As you speak Clint relaxes little and gives you a grateful smile. “Thank you.” the archer mutters unable to believe that he can stay even after explaining. To think they offered him protection and consider him one of their own even, to Clint that’s simply priceless.
Summer puts up her hands, smile going a little twisted. “Whoa there, slow down on the gratitude. You’ve still got to talk to Loki, and I’m not really the one to say how you’re going to fit in here in the long run. But what Tony wants, he usually gets, and he seems to want you.”
