Got training in the morning, then I have to pack, so not at all sure when I’ll be on to write replies. I should be able to see replies no problem, and think about what I want to write, and maybe even be able to respond slowly on kik. Depends on the signal.
I’m gonna do your replies first when I can sit down at a computer, Cat <3, and then any others.
Headed out to NYC for a couple days Sunday. Not sure when I’ll be able to write during that time either, and after that I’ll be accomodating my work schedule. I’ll still be around, though, for those who care.

It’s not his real accent but, don’t get me wrong, I still love it to bits. Watch an interview with him to hear his real accent. He’s from London, it’s more of a southern accent.
I’ve heard Daniel speak many times, including before he was in Teen Wolf. He sounds the same as Kol.

I couldn’t find a clip from the originals to compare it to but seriously, he has a London accent irl and not when he plays Kol. He’s putting it on as part of the character portrayal.
I’m American, so I’m struggling to put the correct name to the accent he uses in the Originals, but it’s definitely not his normal accent. It resembles what’s often described as a cockney accent in books.

It’s not cockney. It’s a London accent though. There are vids on YouTube to show you the differences. But as I mentioned in my previous post, here’s a vid of Daniel being interviewed for Immortals, and his accent is the same as Kol’s. If you don’t hear it, I can’t really say anything else to you. But I’m sticking to my opinion.
I’m listening to them back and forth (especially videos from this summer), one after the other, and there’s a particular shape of the vowels, and the way Kol drops his ‘h’, that Daniel doesn’t have normally. I need to keep listening and define it better, maybe do some research on British accents — he just doesn’t sound the same to me.
