“The caffeine monster rises again!” Disdaining his hand, she clutched her way up his leg instead, hanging off his belt loops by the end. “Let’s go — I need to watch you flirt with the barista.”
“The caffeine monster never left,” he corrected. He walked backwards towards the elevator, towing her along by her grip on his belt loops. “Are you expecting something unique to happen when I flirt with the barista?”
“Nope.” Summer stole a kiss. “I just like the knowledge that no matter what happens I get to be in your life, your bed, your heart.” It wasn’t meant as a pick up line when she added, “I’m a key routine in your kernel code now.”

She pointed out, “You did ask. I can’t let other people upstage me in pick up lines with my own playboy.”
“Yeah, but when I asked for bad pick up lines, I wasn’t expecting that sort of torture.” He gave her a pitiful look, as if it really had been torture.
She pouted back at him. “What can I do to make it up to you? Poor baby.”
He pulled a thoughtful expression, and then squirmed away from her and stood up. “Coffee,” he decided, as he offered her a hand up. “New cafe just opened down the street.”

“Sometimes I think Jarvis likes me better than you,” she teased. She offered a hand. “Jarvis, dearest brilliant AI, you appreciate my computer jokes, don’t you?”
Tony took her hand, and pulled her down to join him on the floor. “Jarvis doesn’t play favorites. Except with me.” Jarvis, wisely, didn’t say anything to either of them.
“Hi there.” Summer ended half-sprawled on Tony, and cuddled up close. “What are we doing down here?”
“Dunno,” Tony answered after a moment, shrugging one shoulder. “My mind’s still all hazy with so many bad jokes.”
