“I’m not going to buy that as an excuse forever,” she warned lightly. She waggled her eyebrows in vague pretend confusion at his tone of voice. “What are you planning?”
“Until I hit twenty though, that seems fair, right?” He grinned and bit down gently on her shoulders, fingers ghosting across the insides of her thighs. “Well, I might just wash you, or I might…linger…?”
“You don’t think you’ve taken me apart enough times today?” But even as she was offering half-hearted almost protests, her body was relaxing into him, yearning toward his hands.
She scolded, “Don’t make promises you know you can’t keep. Insatiable man.” Finding the soap again, she bopped him with it. “Get to work!”
“Teenage boy, remember?” He chuckled and took the bottle from her, before curling his fingers around her ribs and lathering the soap into her sides. “Did you really mean that I can wash you everywhere, Summer?”
“I’m not going to buy that as an excuse forever,” she warned lightly. She waggled her eyebrows in vague pretend confusion at his tone of voice. “What are you planning?”
She made another happy sound, almost purring, and tipped her head a little away from his mouth. “Are you going to wash all of me, Isaac?”
Whining and chasing her with his lips, he smiled against her skin and nodded, his hands ghosting her lower stomach. “Am I allowed to, Summer? I promise to keep the touches innocent and behave myself.”
She scolded, “Don’t make promises you know you can’t keep. Insatiable man.” Finding the soap again, she bopped him with it. “Get to work!”
“At this point I’m not sure I should compliment you,” she teased. “Your ego might not fit in the car in a couple days.” She curved her shoulders under his warm hands, making a happy sound. “That’s so nice … ” She got up on her knees so he could get to her lower back, and wiggled a little.
“With my height, that’s bound to be a big problem.” He chuckled and licked around her earlobe, nibbling on the shell before running his hands down her spine and ribs, around her hips and then moving back up to her shoulders. “You’re so beautiful…”
She made another happy sound, almost purring, and tipped her head a little away from his mouth. “Are you going to wash all of me, Isaac?”
Giggling, she said, “If I didn’t know you were a werewolf, I wouldn’t think of you as a dog at all. You’re really much more catlike. Or maybe foxlike, all mischief and slyness.” She peeked over her shoulder at him. “Are you playing, or are you going to finish back there?”
“Yeah? I’m assuming there’s a compliment hidden somewhere in there, huh?” He grinned and leaned forward to kiss her soundly on the lips, nuzzling their noses together. “Yeah, yeah, I’m on it.” He chuckled then and pulled back, hands resuming their previous motions.

“/So/ easily distracted. Why, if I threw a stick right now, you”d be off after it, and leave poor me behind, neglected.” Summer laughed, leaning forward with his weight gently on top. Mischievously, she rolled one shoulder, causing him to slide sideways.
He pouted and resisted the urge to fold his arms across his chest in defiance, instead nipping at the curve of her shoulder. “I’m not exactly like a dog, you know.” He chuckled and then squeaked as he slipped slightly, managing to clutch at her hips to straighten up. “Minx.”
She offered, “Because we’ve only been going out for a couple months? Because you’re easily distracted? You mean this, in the bath together? Because we both had school until last week?” She made a happy sigh and shivered a little.
“Easily distracted? Pfft.” He scoffed incredulously and pressed his face to the side of her neck as he ran his hands up and down her neck. “There’s something nice about this, isn’t there? I kind of like sharing a bath with you.”
“/So/ easily distracted. Why, if I threw a stick right now, you”d be off after it, and leave poor me behind, neglected.” Summer laughed, leaning forward with his weight gently on top. Mischievously, she rolled one shoulder, causing him to slide sideways.
Deliberately she dropped the bottle of soap in his lap. “Anything that lets you touch me?” she teased. Turning around in the water, she turned off the flow and sat with knees tucked up to her chest, presenting her back to him.
“You know I love touching you,” he murmured fondly and scooted forwards, leaning in to pepper kisses across her neck and halfway down her spine, before curling his fingers around the soap. “How come we haven’t really done this before?” he suddenly questioned as he began lathering up his hands.
She offered, “Because we’ve only been going out for a couple months? Because you’re easily distracted? You mean this, in the bath together? Because we both had school until last week?” She made a happy sigh and shivered a little.
Gently, she pushed his hand away. “I don’t want to wash my hair right now, Isaac, don’t do that please.” She didn’t argue with him about the other thing; it would probably be a point of contention between them for a long time. To ease the sting of denial a little she kissed his fingertips. “You can help me wash my back though?”
Isaac stiffened slightly at the reprimand, moving to tug away his hand before her lips were kissing the tips and he simply cast her a sheepish, apologetic smile. “I’d like that,” was all he said by way of response, wanting nothing more than to kiss her but needing to keep the moment innocent and not heated.
Deliberately she dropped the bottle of soap in his lap. “Anything that lets you touch me?” she teased. Turning around in the water, she turned off the flow and sat with knees tucked up to her chest, presenting her back to him.
“Mmmm. Don’t drown,” she commented. It would take a while for the huge tub to fill completely, but she was perfectly content to sit there in the slowly rising water and watch him from under lowered eyelashes. In a little while, maybe, he could help her wash, which would probably turn into something that needed another wash afterward, and that was fine too. The lowering sun turned the light through the frosted window golden and glorious, and she basked in it.
Curling his toes and wriggling his feet as he watched the water level of the tub slowly rise, Isaac smiled softly to himself, enjoying the intimate, relaxing moment. Then, he turned to gaze at her with a tender little smile, eyeing her with a chuckle as he reached out to play with her hair. “You’re so beautiful…”
