“Come in,” Abby called, glad the door had been unlocked when the grey face had gotten her—the idea of trying to unlock it in her current state seemed vaguely nightmarish. She fluttered absently near the door, waiting for the other girl to come in. She knew she was fairly tiny, but she figured Summer would probably notice her fluttering around, with her vibrant purple wings and all.
Summer pushed the door open, a little confused at the faintness of Abby’s voice. Maybe the other girl was in the back of the house? A flicker of purple caught her eye as she glanced around — “Abby?! Oh … my.” She lifted a hand, holding it flat. “Well. You, uh … look good this way, at least.”
“Uh, yep. Last time I checked, yeah. Still Abby.” She eyed Summer’s hand for a moment before making the decision to land there, giving her tiny wings a rest. “Just tiny.”
She gave a snort at Summer’s compliment, before giving a shrug, the wings fluttering slightly at the motion. “Thanks, I guess, but it’s really not the most convenient of looks.” Abby shifted a little, really wanting to just forget the state she was in—as much as she could considering she was perching on her friend’s hand, that is. ”So, uh, what did you come to talk about again?”
“I was over to SHIELD headquarters the other day, and I ran into an Agent Nero who … well, let’s just say his reaction to your name was pretty interesting to a girl like me.” Cradling Abby carefully, Summer settled herself into a comfy chair. “So I was wondering what you could tell me about him. There’s a lot of depth to him, and I’m curious.”

[text] Really? Yeah, sure, come on over. Um. But, uh… greyfaces kind of got ahold of me, so I’m not really… myself right now.
[text] okay. be right there
It would be the first time Summer had been to Abby’s place — the first time they’d met each other outside the Tower or SHIELD, really. But it was easy to find, and whatever weird magic had happened to Abby hadn’t changed her that much, whatever she thought. Summer knocked on the door.
