Summer looked up from the ornament box she was digging through, smiling slowly. “Hmm? How would you like me, then?” A mischievous glitter lit her eyes. “Naked with a bow? In a gorgeous dress on your arm? Making you beg me for mercy? Putting snow down your back?”
“… there really is a party? I meant you to talk to him about throwing one. Of course I’ll go with you, Hawk, though you’ll have to help me pick out a dress.”
“There is. I never joke when it comes to parties or events of any kind. I usually avoid attending them at all,” he confesses and smiles, adding, “Of course I will. Even if you look astonishing in everything and nothing. ”
“Mmm, flattery will get you /everywhere/.” Summer slid her fingers up into the close crop of his hair, scraping against his scalp, and kissed him again, deeply. “Christmas is a long way off yet, Clint. Can you wait?”
Clint kissed you back his hands wrapping themselves around you. “Maybe one more kiss to keep the temptation at bay,” the archer hummed teasingly and lifted one hand to caress your cheek.
“That’s not at all how it works. The more you kiss me, the more I’m tempted.” She looked up at him through her eyelashes, turning her face into his hand. “Come on,” she whispered.
