“Serves you right,” she said smugly. “Coming over all ‘RP’ at me. Just because you have a voice like melted chocolate doesn’t mean you get to use it like that!”
“Who? Me? Smug? Never, although, I do appreciate the voice like melted chocolate bit darling.”
“You have such an ego.” She smacked him, laughing.
“Me? A nut? Well… I suppose I never did say I was normal love”
“You and normal don’t even go in the same sentence.”
“Quite right, quite right indeed love,” Victor said in a mock pompous English accent.
She tickled him in retaliation.
“OI!”
“Serves you right,” she said smugly. “Coming over all ‘RP’ at me. Just because you have a voice like melted chocolate doesn’t mean you get to use it like that!”
What began as a moan turned into a gasp of “Victor darling,” before she wrapped both legs around his hips, and both arms around his shoulders, and pulled him flush to her. “Be still.” Though her voice was low, it snapped with command, and she buried her face in his shoulder. “Be still, and let me hold you, let me know you are here.” She tensed the inner muscles in her abdomen, caressing.
The way he growled just unwound every muscle in her body, unwound them and tied them back up again. Tingles raced her nerves. When he entered her, she breathed out hard, eyes scrunching closed, and clutched him close. “Stay. Just stay,” she breathed. “I want to hold you, right here, as close as we can possibly be.”
