“No, just insane,” Summer replied, grinning back. “I should just make you list all the famous people you know and be done with it, then tag along on one of your days just so I can say I laid eyes on them all.”
She looked out at the street, a little amazed. One random e-mail, and somehow things turned right around. Okay, so maybe Loki wasn’t the safest friend to have, all touch-me-not and distant, and Jane was often busy with her research, but it was a far cry better than when she’d first come here, alone and empty and hurting.
“I really don’t know that many. I just happen to know one famous person who works really closely with a ton of other famous people,” Jane said, and grinned. “I don’t know any movie stars or models or anything. I just know super heroes.”
Even that was nuts, though. If she had been told three years ago that she’d know all of these people, she would have just laughed, because it was completely ridiculous. “But seriously, I’d be happy to introduce you to at least Thor, Tony, and Pepper. They’re the ones I’m closest to.” She thought for a moment. “And Johnny Storm, I guess. He’d like you.” She smirked. “He’d probably really like you. You’re both really hot.” Literally.
“The next pertinent question is: when? I’ve got all the free time in the world.” Summer folded her hands under her chin and contrived to look innocent.
Jane shrugged. “Whenever, pretty much,” she said. “Well, at least, I can’t introduce you to Johnny whenever he’s available. And Charles.. I need to hunt him down first, but he’s probably not too busy. Thor is dealing with something with his family at the moment, I think, but he’s always around, otherwise. We’ll figure something out.”
The random people who heart the roleplays I’m in, I love them so much. They don’t even follow me, but I’m just good enough that when I play with the people they do follow, we get loved.
So I’m going to go do something EXCITING AND SOLO. I should make Thor sorry for leaving me alone on Lokisday.

[It’s the greek myth of the rape of Persephone I want to emulate. In short: evil!Loki or dark!Loki gets so annoyed with Synne’s cheer and desire to help him, he sends her to Helheim as a gift to his daughter Hela. (I’ve already contacted ask-hela about this.) Hela is of course bewildered at this gift, and Synne meets various other personae while wandering about Helheim (I’ve contacted wildlingking about this part). While she’s down there, she develops feelings for Hela, who may or may not return them. I expect at some point dark!Loki will discover she’s not exactly miserable in Helheim, and take steps. I … am not entirely sure what the end result is going to be; I want to write it and find out.]
Ahhh, I absolutely lovetales like this, and I’ve been wanting to roleplay with ask-hela and wildlingking for ages! I would love to join in on this, definitely! That is, if no other Loki wants to do it and you don’t mind my writing?

I know not everyone on tumblr has had the opportunity/unfortunate surprise of discovering that the tagging system’s small quirks – but I feel like it’s a concern that every rp blog with a hyphenated url has, so maybe this will help a little. 🙂
See, the tagging system recognizes hyphens (or, “dashes”, if you prefer) as spaces between words/characters, not as actual hyphens. So, if you’re going to post a thread/scene/whatever, and tag it, make sure you run the words all together minus the hyphens.
Example: the-scottfitzgerald would be tagged thescottfitzgerald, for the sake of the system.
It’s really that simple, everyone. 🙂
I know this isn’t exactly rocket science or news, but some people are still unaware of it and if sharing this post helps to cut down on the number of missed starter threads and miscommunications, then that’s what counts. So!
