Summer snuggled into the hug, slipping her arms around his waist and running hands up his back. “Tame, I suspect, but I’ll take it.”
“Well normally things would be different. But there’s this girl…” He trailed off enjoying the hug. “But hey we just met, there are lots of opportunities for you to see me lose my tame.”
Summer chuckled. “There’s always a girl, I hear, with you. I was hoping I could be this girl, but if you’re /busy/ …” She trailed off, nimble fingers peeling open his costume at the back of his neck, before grinning hugely and skipping back a few steps.

She laughed back, catching his hand. “Nowhere, now.” The ground was only a few feet below, and she let her wings go, dropping down with a slight jolt. ”You’ve caught me, what shall you do with me?”
He dropped down beside her, before pulling her closer to him as his flames died down. “Oh that’s a good question. What should I do with you?” A smile flirted at the corner of his mouth for a moment. “There are so many options here!”
He pulled her into a hug and set his head on top of hers.

Summer kept diving, headed straight for the ground, and pulled up at the last second to shoot out into Central Park, dodging trees. Just for kicks, she snagged a high tree branch and used it to pull a half-loop, arrowing back along the park upsidedown. Johnny’s laughter reached her ears, and she giggled, weaving along the paths to find the lake.
Johnny zoomed past Summer as she changed directions. He managed a running man stop, before twisting his body around and resuming the chase. Dodging tree tops and branches, he gained speed. He flew a few feet above, and ended up facing her in mid air when he finally caught up.
“Where do you think you’re going?” He smirked reaching a hand down to tag her.
She laughed back, catching his hand. “Nowhere, now.” The ground was only a few feet below, and she let her wings go, dropping down with a slight jolt. ”You’ve caught me, what shall you do with me?”

Summer laughed at him. “Oh, you don’t scare me, Johnny-boy. You do your best, soldier boy, and we’ll see how it goes. Can a man like you seduce a woman like me?” She flicked the baby fireballs up into the sky, fwipfwipfwip, and immediately dropped into a flat dive, calling behind her, “Catch me if you can!”
Johnny deflamed, dropping into a spinning free fall before igniting again sending him rocketing downward in an explosion of flickering flames.
“Ooooowwwwowooooooo!” He howled like a wolf, then laughed into the wind as he began gaining on her. He imagined this was what fighter pilots felt when having dog fights in the air.

Of course at the mention of sex… Johnny grinned devilishly.
“It’s all a crock. I am a good Christian soldier, ma’am.” Johnny did his best Captain America impersonation, complete with salute. Flame shot off his hand, forming little patriotic stars.
“It’s actually kind of hard to fly, I can’t get off on too many brain tangents or I run into things.” Johnny smiled fondly, recalling the time he had scared the crap out of all the passengers on a Delta passenger plane.
Summer laughed. “Easily distractable. Oh, well.” She winked. “I /was/ looking forward to finding out about that reputation, but if you’re as good as all that, and so distractable too, I guess I’ll just have to accept that it’s all a lie.” Shrugging and pouting, she started to juggle little fireballs, watching Johnny through them.
“Pfft!” Johnny grunted, folding his arms across his chest.
“That sounds like a challenge. But if you’re too scared to test out my reputation for yourself, then I can accept that, I guess.” Johnny smirked, raising a brow. His eyes followed the line of fire and he tried to string them together into a circle.

“Magic?” Johnny raised a skeptical brow.
“Nah, I’m good… so wait. You can sense emotions? That sounds nifty. What am I feeling?” He grinned childishly waggling his eyebrows. He was actually feeling slightly stressed out. He knew that at any minute, Sue was bound to come looking for him in the jet, freaking out over nothing. That and then there was that thing with Charlotte, whom he definitely was not falling for at all, no sir-ee. NOT HAPPENING. Except it kinda was.
“Excitement, curiosity on top.” Summer’s eyes went half-lidded, and one hand reached out toward him, fingers spread. After a moment, she licked her lips and said, “Stress. You’re worried about something … several things. Protective … you want to protect someone. It’s very focused. It’s all … blurry, though.”
She opened her eyes, and her mouth quirked. “Amusingly, you don’t actually seem to be thinking about sex. That reputation of yours all made up, then?”

“Nope. It gets uncomfortable after a while, it makes me really tired, and then I have to eat everything in sight to feel better… but no fire doesn’t hurt me at all.”
Johnny stared at her curiously. “How are you doing that?” He wasn’t big into science, but sitting on non-solids generally didn’t work out too well for him.
“Maaaagic.” Summer waggled her fingers dramatically. “Seriously, I have no idea. It just works. It’ll keep working as long as you’re up here with me, I expect, now. Lots of emotions from you.” She raised her eyebrows at him. “How long have you been in that form, then, today? Should I be being adult and sending you down?”

“Not so much of a handler…” Johnny started rubbing a hand through his flaming hair. “He’s my brother in law and has a weird hard-on for science.”
“What about you? Who do you hang with?”
“I’m more the solo type, really. It’d be nice to have a partner, someone to watch my back when I get up to my more kamikaze tricks, but …” Summer shrugged. “I really haven’t been here in the city for very long, either. SHIELD called me up to help out with cleanup after that whole … alien invasion thing, and I just decided to stay.” Folding her legs, she sat down on the air, looking him over curiously.
“Does it hurt?”

“Naienko, that’s a pretty name.” Johnny smiled charmingly at her as Reed started talking at light speed.
“Nai, is a Japanese negative though it generally comes after a word, Enko is a female name with meanings from charming to little princess depending on the characters used, enko is also a Slavic suffix meaning son of. What is she doing? Does she have any weapons? Nobody under the name Naienko is showing up in any of my searches.”
“I’m fine… just a little distracted. Sorry. Give me one second.”
Johnny put his hand on his ear. “Dude you have got to lay off the caffeine. She’s flying, and on fire, dude she has wings! I don’t think she’s going to attack so I’m signing off now.” He turned off the device ignoring Reed’s protests.
“Sorry about that.”
“You … have a handler. As a superhero?” Summer tried, unsuccessfully, to smother a snicker.
