The thing Summer will never get used to is the whole walking everywhere. She’s got a little folding cart; it’s not hard to plan to carry shopping about, but it’s still weird. Where she grew up, things just weren’t /close/ enough to walk to. Never mind public transport.
She stops at the foot of the stairs and looks up, then back down at the heap of sacks in her cart. “Well, here we go,” she mutters, and grabs three or four bags.
[text to: magic hands] wow. okay. cream cheese dip then. it’ll go along with the veggies anyway.
[text to: magic hands] I may need some help carrying all this inside.

[text to: Arthur’s Girl] Uhm. You could make pigs in a blanket? Buy a lot of freaking chips and salsa.
[text to: Arthur’s Girl] Oh and cocktail mixes.
[text to: magic hands] I’m not paying for what I can make perfectly well myself. Cocktail mixes, forsooth.
[text to: magic hands] thank god y’all are on the same floor or I’d worry about getting you home
[text to: magic hands] do they make vegan hot dogs?
[text to: Arthur’s Girl] I think that they do.
[text to: Arthur’s Girl] Don’t buy a lot though.
[text to: Arthur’s Girl] I’ll probably be the only one to eat them.
[text to: magic hands] what’s mordred’s fav food?
[text to: Arthur’s Girl] Let me ask really quick. I’ll let you know in a minute.
[text to: magic hands] I should introduce you guys to something weirdly american except I can’t think of anything

Send me a ?! for my muses reaction to yours slipping their hand inside his/her shirt.
[ ❧ ─ He wasn’t really sure what Summer was doing at his flat — not that he really minded the company of another living thing besides his dog because sometimes he just wanted to relax but Crayon had grown enough to jump up on the couch and lick his face. And you do not want that dog to lick your face.
But still, they hardly knew each other and Xavier was more than surprised when her fingertips brushed against the lower part of his torso, making him grab her wrist abruptly and give her a weird look.
“What’re you doing, love?”

She held up two fingers, with a slim shining strand between them. “Hair. Sorry. I’m shedding on you.”

Send me a ✢ for my muse’s reaction to seeing yours standing on their doorstep soaking wet in the rain.
[ ❧ ─ “Summer? Did you lose the key to your flat?” That was the only thing that came to his mind of course when she had shown up his door with wet clothes, hair… well, everything really. Being the person he was, he quickly stepped aside just after he asked the questions so that she could come in. “I’ll get you a towel, love.”

“I locked myself out, and my phone in,” she grumbled. “And this rain is the pits, I was just going to check the mail and now I might as well have taken a shower.” Trying not to drip all over everything, and not shiver too much either, she added, “Thanks, Xavier. I owe you.”
[ ❧ ─ “Yeah, don’t worry about it.” Gently taking her wrist in a hand, he led her towards his room and spoke again. “Do you want to take a shower? You could borrow some of my clothes if you want to.”
“That,” she sighed, “would be lovely. I’m fucking /freezing/ now.” Mournfully, she held out the soggy strands of her hair. “I washed this yesterday.”
